MATH 102.017 Spring 2006

Class Policy:

1. Attending class is required. More than two unexcused absences from lecture will automatically give you an F grade for the class.

2. Seating will be assigned at 01/11/2006.

3. Your grades are based on the following:

    a. 28 in class Quizzes (5 points each)

    b. 11 in class Weekly tests (10 points each)

    c. 3 Monthly Tests (100 points each)

    d. Final Comprehensive Exam (250 points)

    e. 30 points BONUS for students attended all classes and never late to class or leave early.

    Total points  800 points for the class.

4. All Tests will be given in class. if you have to miss a class or a test, send an e-mail or call my office at 237-2157 before class. There will NO makeup given for unexcused absences.

First Test --- February 10, 2006

Second Test --- March 10, 2006

Third Test --- April 21, 2006

Final Test --- May 5, 2006 @ 8 AM

Grading Scale

A --- above 720,    B+ --- 680 to 719,    B --- 640 to 679,    C+ --- 600 to 639,      

C --- 560 to 599,    D+ --- 520 to 559,    D --- 480 to 519,    F --- Below 480
