Email Lists
There are a variety of email lists used to send announcements and keep in touch with the students, faculty, and others served by the department. Each is described briefly below. Click on the link to a list if you wish to subscribe to the list or modify your subscription, or send email to Jeff Kinne at jkinne@indstate.edu.
Students (mathcs-students, math-ugrads, math-grads, cs-ugrads, cs-grads@cs...)
These email lists are used to contact Mathematics, Mathematics Education, and Computer Science majors (both undergraduate and graduate) about events in the department, job opportunities, etc. The lists are updated each term to include the currently enrolled and active majors of the department. There is one list each for: math undergraduate students, math education undergraduate students, math graduate students, cs undergraduate students, cs graduate students, and one that contains all students.
Note: students do not need to sign up for these lists as long as you have declared your major by the beginning of the semester; if you have, you are automatically put on the appropriate email lists.

Alumni (mathcs-alumni@cs...)
This email list is used to contact alumni of the Math and CS Department about job opportunities or anything else that would be relevant to alumni. The list is updated each term to include those who have graduated. The list page is at http://cs.indstate.edu/mailman/listinfo/mathcs-alumni/
Seminar (math-cs-seminar@cs...)
This email list is used to send announcements and reminders for the department's seminar. The list is open to anyone interested in the department's seminar. The list page is at http://cs.indstate.edu/mailman/listinfo/math-cs-seminar/
Student Club
The Math and CS Department student club uses the online management system used by all Indiana State clubs. The link to go to is: http://www.indstate.edu/Treehouse where existing members can view information and messages about the club, and those who are not yet members can sign up. The student club's role is to support both the social and academic well-being of the students in the department - through social activities, information sessions, competitions, etc. The club is open to all.
Faculty
These email lists are used to contact Mathematics, Mathematics Education, and Computer Science faculty. These lists are managed (not open to subscription requests). The mailing lists are math-faculty@cs..., mathed-faculty@cs..., cs-faculty@cs..., adjuncts@cs... Finally, mathcs-faculty@cs... includes all faculty in the department.
