Welcome to the webpage of of the Department of Mathematics and Computer Science. We are dedicated teachers, researchers, and educators. We care for our students, we are passionate about our teaching, and we want our students to succeed.
The department offers several undergraduate programs (both majors and minors), and masters degree programs in Mathematics and Computer Science.
Our faculty have research interests in a variety of fields : Algebra, Combinatorics, Compuational Complexity Theory and Algorithms, Computer Security, Cryptography, Databases, General Topology, Graph theory, Linear Algebra, Mathematics Education, and Measure Theory, to name a few. Our faculty are authors of books published by reputed publishers, have published in reputed journals, and have sustained interest in research.
We also prepare teachers for secondary schools. Whether you are interested in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, Computer Science, or Information Technology, we would like you to consider our department and ISU.
